So far teaching in Beijing has been a great experience. The application went through very quickly and the recruitment team at Saxoncourt helped to make finding the right job a smooth process and guiding me through the visa process. As someone completely new to teaching, moving abroad to teach seemed daunting but the support offered was great -there was a lot of advice offered for the transition of moving to China and then when I arrived the training provided helped to feel more confident in how to teach effectively.

The school staff are all very friendly and were helpful while I was getting settled in, and the teaching hours allow a lot of free time during the week to get out and explore Beijing which is a great bonus.

I would definitely recommend this program to anyone considering it.

New TEFL teacher, Shane Taiwan is good and secure. Guaranteed hours, reasonable pay and work load. DoS was helpful, training and support was good. Small class averages and little to no admin.

Recruitment process was easy, via Saxoncourt, lots of info before I went out there and the support on arrival was good. I was pleased to have secured a job before I flew to Taiwan.

Paid on time. Management at my school were friendly and helpful. Kids were great. Never had any issues with the material it is straight forward and easy to teach. They are growing really quickly. Everyone tries hard.

What would you improve about this program?
Manager was busy and sometimes a little disorganised. They are growing and can't keep up with demand. You might need to sub on occasion. But not often. Keep helping and supporting new teachers.

Shane is professional and I was recruited from the UK via Saxoncourt. You will do well if you want to be a proper teacher and not here to mess around. They are really helpful with the visa and arrival stuff. And I have learned a lot and developed. The training was good and my DoS was helpful.

Can be a lot of work at times. Especially if you put in extra prep for to your classes Pay could be higher, but Taiwan pay rates have not changed in 5 years. Starting pay is around NT$600.

What would you improve about this program?
Higher pay rates, and modernize the some of the schools especially MJ.
