I was happily surprised with how well this course was run - from beginning to end, I felt that I was getting valued information and fair and honest feedback. I was a little surprised at how intense it was, but felt that for the price I paid to take the course, the information covered went above and beyond, making it 100 percent worth it. I feel more comfortable and confident in the idea of becoming a teaching English as a foreign language teacher and all that this course did to prepare me for the next chapter of my life.

What would you improve about this program?
The only thing I was disappointed in was having to pay to get a hard copy of my certificate. I don't think that is fair and a student who completed the course should either get it for free or at a discounted rate.

I took the 150 hour course, it was a great experience and taught me a lot. The Teacher was awesome and she went well above and beyond to help guide me and make me a better teacher myself. I had a previous TESOL degree but wanted to add this to my CV. I am also taking the Business English course and the Grammar course to round out my experience. I will be looking to teach overseas this fall, just not sure where I will end up yet

I attended this course not knowing what to expect but it is well worth the money and time. I learned so much that sometimes I was on overload. If you are looking to learn, become a better teacher, and/or trying to find a new career.

Make a positive and life-changing impact on the lives of others. Teach abroad and make a difference. Don’t hesitate to start here! This is where the adventure begins and you make the right choice to start on the right foot.

Right now I am doing the 120 Master TEFL Certificate . I am an English trainer and I love teaching English . I teach English to professionals in Europe . I always wanted to register for a similar course and I have to say that I am very happy and satisfied . The feedback , advice , examples , notes , videos are what teachers need to improve their teaching skills .

My teachers are very motivating , attentive , devoted , they correct my exercises fast and their comments are easy to understand and they are always there to help and advise me . I would recommend this great course to my colleagues , relatives and friends .

What would you improve about this program?
It is a great course .Perhaps when learners watch the videos it will be great to have the transcript below the video as some people may have some problems to hear with their headsets or laptops/computers.

It is a great course and I will consider other courses in the near future.

I completed the 60-hour TEFL Educators Certificate in Spring 2017 while my wife attended the CELTA intensive course. I found it helpful that we were often studying the same concepts and could compare what we learned. I like the pace of the course, the fair homework assignnments, and variety of course activities (video lessons, readings, quizzes, and writing/developing lesson plans for grading). The one thing that was lacking was actual live teaching experience, which of course you don't get in an online learning environment (usually).

What would you improve about this program?
Provide a way to do a practice teaching session online that could be viewed/graded by the grader (using SKYPE or other live video calling tool).

What is your favorite travel memory?

My husband and I took 2 months and traveled through the Balkans. We were able to visit some incredible countries that are often forgotten on the backpacker trail. I was amazed at how stunning Montenegro was (still my favorite bus ride). I also was surprised at what a fun city Ljubljana was -- I'd love to go back and visit again! We also visited Albania, which is a country I think many people rarely visit, and while it was a bit more chaotic than I expected, I loved how friendly and helpful everyone was while we were traveling throughout the country.

Which destination is most underrated? Conversely, which is most overrated?

I think that Romania is underrated -- it's a majestic country! I was able to explore Bran Castle ("Dracula's Castle"), spend time in a quaint city square in Brasov, and the train ride from Budapest to Romania was beautiful. We also got a recommendation from a gentleman on the train to try a restaurant, and it was incredible food!

As for overrated -- maybe Italy? I loved Italy for the food (who doesn't!) and the scenery, but when I was a backpacker on a shoestring budget, Italy got a bit more expensive than we planned.

What do you believe to be the biggest factor in being a successful company?

Caring about the students! Whether you're an online student doing a self-paced course, or a student who is doing a course in a classroom, we want to hear from you throughout your experience. We are always happy to help, and we want our students to succeed in their TEFL courses so that they can start the dream of teaching abroad.

How have you changed/grown since working for your current company?

I've learned a lot about TEFL certification. When I got TEFL certified, I didn't do my research; I just found a course and enrolled. I got lucky with a good TEFL program, but now I understand that accreditation is quite intensive, depending on who accredits the company. Because Bridge also offers English language programs throughout the US, we are required to have a more rigorous accreditation process than many companies that offer only TEFL certifications. I have learned how accreditation makes our company better, and that our courses are stellar for EFL methodology -- you'll learn a lot with our TEFL certifications!

What is the best story you've heard from a return student?

I love to hear from students that they are teaching! We survey our students after they have completed a TEFL certificate, and it is exciting to hear about all of the amazing places where our graduates are teaching. We've got graduates in Ukraine, China, Thailand, Germany, Chile, and many other incredible countries! I know what it's like to teach without TEFL certification, and the difference that a course makes in teacher confidence is huge. I'm so happy that we are able to provide that training for our teachers.
