Mitch spent his formative years in Upstate NY and is a proud UC Berkeley alum (Go Bears!). His passions include rugby, reading, running, BBQ and... traveling. Mitch previously taught English in Taiwan and considers it a second home. He's been to 40+ countries and counting!
After graduating with a degree in Art History, Andrew decided to throw caution to the wind and teach English abroad in Taiwan. This turned out to be one of the best decisions he's ever made, because it was there where he met Mitch and together they founded Go Overseas.
Joanna is a Bay Area native, returned Peace Corps volunteer, and high school lacrosse coach. Her most recent hobby is boxing, and she (obviously) loves to travel. Joanna has studied abroad in Viterbo Italy through USAC and worked in community development in The Gambia with Peace Corps.

Jenny is a true Californian, born and raised in Northern California and Chico State alumna. While attending Chico State, she spent a semester studying abroad with USAC in Bilbao, Spain. She's an amateur photographer and lover of all things travel.

Katy was UC Berkeley History major and now (naturally) builds websites for a living and enjoys browsing bookstores and searching for the perfect poke bowl. Katy studied abroad at the University of Cambridge with UCEAP, and has travelled to Israel, Japan, Fiji, New Zealand and all over Europe.
Valerie is writer and editor both in-office and on the weekends -- when she runs a travel blog and website about space tourism. She enrolled in grad school in London and has lived in every U.S. timezone. Valerie relocated to the Berkeley office from Seattle to join the Go Overseas team.
Izzy is from Santa Cruz, California and likes to spend as much time as possible in or around the ocean. Her favorite activities include urban hiking, eating fruit, and camping in the redwoods. While at Pitzer College, Izzy spent a semester studying abroad in Costa Rica.

Alia is a Massachusetts-based artist who loves exploring new places. She has studied abroad in London at the University of the Arts London, researched photographic archives in Paris, recently road-tripped through Iceland’s incredible landscape, and is always planning her next adventure.
Ben is a Maine native and recent transplant to the Bay Area. He had a formative experience studying abroad in Madrid during college, and previously worked at EF Education First in Boston, MA. When not in the office, you'll likely find Ben hiking, cooking, and talking about Maine to whoever is willing to listen.
Madeline grew up in East Tennessee and studied abroad in the Netherlands where she developed a love of photography and a taste for French pastry. She’s traveled to 40 countries and, most recently, rode on a motorcycle through Central Vietnam’s mountainous coast.
